Good to see that individuals and major companies are recognising that activities can be enjoyed by both genders and are encouraging children to feel confident when breaking stereotypes. - Laura
ReplyDeleteI honestly agree with this article, i mean without the diving and wrestling at corner kicks there is no excitement, whereas in the mens premier league you see players diving and arguing with each other, occasionally biting (Suarez when he was there) but this makes it interesting to watch, and this is probably why the women footballers are not watched as much as men.
ReplyDeleteI like how lego are not stereotyping genders and making children feel limited into what they can and cant do, and i think this would make children feel more free and create whatever they want to.
ReplyDeleteSomeone should get the FA to read the women's football advert and take a leaf out of their book for once. In regards to the lego letter, I think it's great that big corporations like lego recognised that parents shouldn't try to fit their children into a gender stereotype and actually did something about it.
ReplyDeleteI don't agree with the first article Fans don't watch football to see fights, they watch it because they enjoy the sport.
ReplyDeleteIt's good to see that lego don't discriminate with toys
ReplyDeleteI think that womens football should get more of a push , as its quite entertaining, but also I feel that there should be more female coaches in the mens division as there are male coaches in the womens divisions
